From leaves of all colors — Red, Yellow, Orange, and Brown — to leaves of all shapes and sizes — from pointy to round — Mouse learns that fall is a season full of fun! And before the day is done he just might take the biggest "leap" of all.

I Like Myself

I Like Myself by Karen Beaumont is high on energy and imagination, this ode to self-esteem encourages kids to appreciate everything about themselves—inside and out.

After reading the book we talked about what we liked about ourselves and how everyone is different, then we made All About Me books.

Ten Apples Up On Top

Ten Apples Up On Top by Dr Suess,A hilarious story in rhyme about a number of animals who could carry 10 apples on their heads.

After reading the book we colored a tree with melted crayon wax,the kids were probably a little too young for this but I think they did a great job.

They were supposed to add ten apples but I think they got carried away as you can see.

Then they colored a color by number picture found at Make Learning Fun.

This is a great felt set that I ordered from Glitter Felt Stories.
