Snowman Ornament



Supplies Needed:

Clear Ornament
Fake Snow (Snowflake sprinkles or Styrofoam Snow)
Glitter green pipe cleaner
Glitter red pom pom
Black paint
Orange triangle felt or foam
Black Foam (1 rectangle piece and 1 circle for hat)
Pencil
Hot glue gun
Tacky glue


1. Fill ornament with fake snow
2. Cut green pipe cleaner and hot glue each end to a red pom pom and then glue to the ornament
3. Dip the eraser on the pencil into black paint and make eyes and mouth
4. Glue nose with tacky glue
5. Glue rectangle piece of foam around the top and then glue round piece on top

The Snowy Day

The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats is a simple tale of a young boy's delight in the first snowfall of the season.

Scrap Snowman


Last year I made a Scrap Christmas Tree and everyone seemed to love it so I thought why not make a Scrap Snowman,I love how it turned out and Mason enjoys doing this type of craft.

Snowman Magnet



How to make:

1. Paint 5 jumbo craft sticks mostly white and the ends black.
2. Paint 2 regular craft sticks black.
3. Glue the white and black sticks onto a piece of black foam paper and then glue the two black sticks where the black and white meet to make the hat.
4. Glue two googly eyes on.
5. Cut a carrot shape out of orange foam and glue on for the nose.
6. Glue tiny black pom poms on for the mouth.
7. Add a magnet on the back.

Fingerprint Snowman Ornament




How to make;

1. Paint your childs thumb white with acrylic paint and press onto plastic ornament to make snowman.
2. When paint is dry take sharpie pens and draw eyes,hat,buttons,arms,nose and scarf.
3. paint the rest of ornament with gloss Modge Podge and then sprinkle a very fine white glitter all over for snow effect.
