Easter Eggs In A Basket

So the girls wanted to do a fun easter craft. This a simple craft I came up with . First I downloaded an egg template and traced 4 eggs for each girl , I gave them paint and q-tips to decorate their eggs. Then I traced an easter basket on a piece of card stock and cut strips of brown construction paper , I had the girls glue the brown strips over the outline of their basket and then glue the easter eggs that they decorated in the basket . How cute is that?

Fall Handprint Trees

Today the girls made Fall Handprint Trees. I Traced their hand and arms all the way up to almost their elbows and then I cut that out and used it for the tree and branches. Milana and Holly made fingerprint leaves, they just love painting with their fingers. Another great way to make the leaves would be to paint their hands and do handprint leaves.

Craft Stick Puzzles

Craft stick puzzles are so much fun to make and your kids will just love them!
I went through magazines and cut out several pictures, you can also color pictures or even draw on the craft sticks themselves. I used the jumbo sized craft sticks(not the colored ones because the dye will run) and I taped them together and turned them over , then the kids applied mod podge and placed the picture of their choice on top and then reapplied the mod podge, wait till dry and then I used a craft knife to cut the craft sticks apart.

Here are some examples of the ones we did:

The Day It Rained Hearts

The Day It Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond is an adorable story. One day it rains hearts, and Cornelia Augusta catches them. Each heart is special in its own way, and Cornelia Augusta knows exactly who to send them to.

Valentine Snowman

I think this one of my favorite crafts. It happened by accident, I was drawing hearts on folded paper for Mason to cut out and I happened to cut out 3 different sizes and when we opened the paper it reminded me of a snowman.
This one is mine
This one Mason did
Here is another one of M's
Basically its very simple to do.
1.Cut 3 hearts on folded paper(proportioned small,medium, and large).
2.Glue onto white paper.
3.Decorate with whatever you have on hand,such as buttons,tiny pom poms,ribbon,pipe cleaners,googly eyes,foam,etc.
